My Favorite Books and Resources on meditation and non-duality
Here, I share some of the works and resources on spirituality, consciousness and meditation. I have no affiliation with any of these, they are just personal recommendations provided for anyone who’s curious and wants to explore these topics.
Books
The Power of Now - Eckhart Tolle
I recommend listening to the audio book read my the author. This book will help you in every aspect of life.
The Bhagavad Gita
Believed to have been composed between 400 BCE and 200 CE. Hindu scripture of a dialogue between Arjuna, a warrior prince, and Krishna, an avatar of Vishnu, on the eve of the Battle of Kurukshetra. The text explores themes of duty (dharma), self-realization, and the nature of reality. I read the walkthrough for westerners version where various concepts and terms are explained, and really enjoyed it.
Stillness Speaks - Eckhart Tolle
This book is like a meditation really. Simple, profound, true, life changing (in lack of better terms).
Conscious - Annaka Harris
Not a meditation book, but a scientific and philosophical exploration of what consciousness is and whether it can be fundamental to reality.
The Power of Awareness - Neville Goddard
Published in 1952. Goddard challenges the common perception that our physical environment exists independently of us and exerts control over our lives. Very interesting interpretations of biblical passages, from a metaphysical perspective.
